The TripTik and Publications option within Support Manager allows you to configure your site to submit TripTik requests to your club via email or an ATS Center, and to individually select the publications that display on the site.
If your club is currently routing aaa.com TripTik requests to an ATS Center, you should update your settings in Support Manager to use the new DNS naming convention. If the ATS Center IP address is blank in Support Manager, you are not currently sending requests to an ATS Center and should not make this change unless you want to begin routing requests to an ATS Center.
Currently, clubs specify where to send ATS requests (TripTik and Publications) through Support Manager. The ATS group has setup DNS names for each club using an ATS center. The DNS name should be used instead of an IP address. Clubs that continue to use the IP address setting will experience downtime during ATS center IP address changes. The aaa.com development team recommends all clubs using the aaa.com TripTik service via an ATS center use the new DNS names.
The new naming convention
is:
ATSxxx.national.aaa.com
Login to Support Manager.

This field allows you to enter the number of days required for your club to process the Triptik. If the customer requests a Triptik with fewer days left than are required, their Triptik request is rejected and they are asked to enter a new date. This number can be different or the same as the ATS Center's lead time.

Our Recommendations:
When you provide external hyperlinks to Internet TripTiks for members to use, the option should be set to OFF.
When you want to internally link to Internet TripTiks to produce member TripTik requests in-house, and you are using a high-quality color printer, the setting should be ON.
