Real Time Credit Card Processing for AES Join and Renewal

The Association Enhanced Site Online Join and Renewal functionality has been modified to automatically process credit card payments. To accomplish this, the Association has procured the ability to process credit cards online through a service bureau agreement with CyberSource. All clubs using the Association Enhanced Site Join and Renewal functionality must transition to the real-time credit card processing functionality.

 

With Release 29, this functionality will NOT automatically be implemented. After National has verified your CyberSource account is setup and functioning properly, your contact person will be notified and the functionality can be activated. To activate the real time credit card processing for Join and/or Renewals, follow the steps defined in the "Setup" section below.  The current manual processing of the credit cards should continue until this functionality is activated.

 

Once this functionality is activated for your club, the credit card number will no longer be stored or displayed on the "New Member Request" or "Renewal Member Request" pages of Support Manager.  The only exception to this rule is when the user has selected the "Auto Renew" option. In this exception, the credit card will be removed from the Association Enhanced Site when the "Process" or "Process All" button is selected for that transaction within the New Member Request or Renewal Member Request pages.

 

If the credit card is processed successfully, the Authorization Code and Transaction Reference received from CyberSource will be displayed on the New Member Request and/or Renewal Member Request pages. Also added is the "Payment Processed by CyberSource" field, all transactions successfully processed by CyberSource will be marked with the "Yes" flag.   

  

The current manual Join and Renew functionality will be discontinued in the near future. Advance notice will be provided prior to this functionality being disabled.

From the new "Credit Card Settings" page within Support Manager:

The Merchant ID for Join and Renewal processing can be the same.
