The AAA Drive Trips functionality is available from links on the Internet TripTik Traveler Page "Driving Directions" application page. This link points the user to the Road Trip Home application page. The Road Trip application is for members only and the application pages are in the Services format. The Road Trip content, which appears first on the page, is not club-customizable and is maintained by the Business Sponsor. You can add your own content and links to the bottom of each Road Trip page. If your club wants to add additional content to these pages, you should use the "Center" section of the page within Content Manager, Modify Page Content.
With the implementation of Release 53, the AAA Drive Trips have been redesigned with a new look that includes bigger maps, easier navigation, and direct links to Online TourBook content.
The redesigned pages have been modified to provide direct links from the page to Online TourBook content. The following new links will forward the user directly to the appropriate section of TourBook:
Hotel references will direct users to the Hotel Select page, displaying hotels for the appropriate city
City names will direct users to the Editorial Content section of TourBook for that city
Attraction/Event references will direct users to the Attraction detail page of TourBook for that attraction/event
Restaurant references will direct users to the Restaurant detail page of TourBook for that restaurant
Campground references will direct users to the Campground detail page of TourBook for that campground
Visitor Information references will direct users to the VIO detail page of TourBook for that city
Additional modifications to the redesigned pages include:
Links to each "Leg" of the Drive Trip have been added to the top of each page
The TourBook pages render via the new Drive Trip pages will display a "Return to Drive Trip" link, allowing the user to return to the Drive Trip page
The "Return to Drive Trip" links from the TourBook pages also contain an anchor tag so the user is directed back to the appropriate "Leg" of the Drive Trip page
With the implementation of Release 53, clubs can also create links directly to the TourBook Detail pages. TourBook direct links are now available for Hotel, Attractions/Events, Restaurant, Editorial Content, Campground and Visitor Information (VIO). Please see the "TourBook Direct Links" section on the TourBook functionality page for linking instructions.
Below are the setup and linking instructions for both Association Enhanced Site and Independent clubs that want to implement additional links on their web site:
The AAA Drive Trips application uses the Area Home Page setting "AAA Drive Trips" for all "Road Trip Home Page" links. With the implementation of the AAA Drive Trips functionality, this Area Home Page setting defaults to "RTHome."

This application is designed to use the current Remote Sign In functionality. Independent clubs that have implemented the Remote Sign In functionality should not have to make any changes to their site.
